Spring Things!
Finally! Itโs spring!
Iโve been waiting for this and Iโm so happy itโs here. Sure spring means allergies and that weird thing the weather does as it transitions; going back and forth from hot to coldโฆ but! Soon the warm weather will be consistent and the days will continue to get longer which is excellent news for someone like me.
Hereโs a few ways I've been leaning into spring so far:
๐Spring Essential Oil Blend- 4 parts sweet orange, 2 parts patchouli, 1 part lemongrass. I started diffusing this blend towards the end of summer when I needed a pick me up before the turn of the seasons. Itโs bright, citrusy and delicious smelling! For those of you that donโt like patchouli, I encourage you to still give this combo a try. Patchouli really balances and grounds this blend without overpowering it.
โผ๏ธRemember, when using 100% essential oils on your skin to first mix them with a carrier oil or lotion to prevent burns. If you want to try these oils during your next treatment with me, just lmk when I see you! :D
โ๏ธ Soaking Up the Sun- I wore a pair of sandals last week! It was so nice to feel the warmth on my skin and to bask in the vibrancy of the day. I personally donโt like direct sunlight (most of the time) but I love a sunny day and the hit of serotonin from the sun is undeniable. Even just opening my windows when the sun is out is an instant mood booster.
๐๐พ Feel Good Music- I make playlists for every mood and interest that inspires me. The fun part is continuously editing and refining them. This Spotify playlist, for example, is 5 hours of music that makes me feel good and screams spring/summer! Itโs upbeat and perfect for a dance party, while getting dressed for a night out or taking a drive with my sunroof open. Turn it on and turn it up for a feel good time!
Photo of the week: I loooooooove flowers! I thought this throwback from 2023 would be a good shot for this weekโs newsletter cause SPRING!

Itโs Aries season but doesnโt quite feel like it yet. Aries is a fire sign and the first sign of the Zodiac, making them assertive and natural born leaders. Typically when Aries season, the astrological new year and spring kick off (all 3 happened on March 20th) we feel more lively and spirited.
Weโre heading in that direction but a bit slower than usual. Mercury and Venus retrograde have us dragging our heels and we have a couple more weeks before they go direct and this energy lightens up.
The fact that the planet of the mind (Mercury) and the planet of love, values and receptivity (Venus) have now regressed into day dreamy Pisces certainly isnโt helping this kind of collective malaise weโre experiencing. However, it does encourage us to continue to slow down, reflect as I wrote about last week and focus on how we feelrather than what we want to do.
There is a silver lining before Mercury and Venus begin their journey back into the action oriented sign of Aries mid April. That silver lining is Neptune! Yesterday Neptune moved from the sign of Pisces, which tends to be avoidant and disoriented, into the sign of Aries, which tends to be quite the opposite.
Because Neptune was in Pisces since 2011, this is a significant energy shift. The planet of dreams and imagination is moving from an emotional, empathetic water sign (the water sign it rules to be exact) into a fire sign. I foresee this as a wake up call and pure, raw inspiration. Soon it will be time to light a fire under our dreams and take action.
โก๏ธ Need a pick me up? Tend to the part of the body that Aries rules to ignite the fire of spring- your head. ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ
This can look like energetically clearing your crown and third eye chakras, getting facials, using a gua sha stone or nasal rinses.
During Aries season we are prone to congestion, headaches and earaches more than ever. If you need assistance, I do a really beautiful Head in the Clouds treatment that includes shoulder, face and scalp massage, acupressure and essential oils.
Feel free to respond to this email with questions and comments,
