HAPPY ASTROLOGICAL NEW YEAR!
Let’s dive into what to expect during our three spring zodiac seasons and the beginning of what some consider the real new year. I think it’s easy to argue that the warmth and resurgence of spring feels much more aligned with new beginnings than January, smack dab in the middle of winter.
Aries, Taurus and Gemini seasons.
Today is the first day of Aries season! Aries, being a cardinal sign and the first sign of the zodiac, is a natural born leader. Aries ushers us into the new astrological year and new season of spring, the season known for inspiring and encouraging renewal and growth.
Taurus season is April 20 - May 20. This means we’ll be moving from fiery Aries energy into much more earthy, grounded, practical energy. Taurus season is when we slow down. We keep moving forward, as diligent Taurus does, only taking a much more thorough approach to life and reclaiming the time to enjoy the abundance that spring offers us.
May 21 - June 20 is Gemini season. The weather is warm and the rain is gone, it’s time to play! Gemini encourages us to tap into our curious, flirty, fun side. Get outside! Learn something new! Entertain the idea of a summer fling or get family and friends together to partake in some outdoor festivities.

Bodywork.
I’ve been doing something new and I’m really excited to share it with you!
Astrologically informed bodywork. That is what I’m calling it for now. You can’t even find it on my list of services. Think of it as a secret menu item.
Here’s how it works:
I take a look at your birth chart and use it as a guide when deciding which modalities, tools and products would benefit you most. This by far has been my most holistic approach to client care. Deeply healing and uniquely customized.
Have you had a birth chart reading with me? Book a 90 min. custom bodywork appointment so that we can briefly reassess your chart and develop a personalized treatment plan just for you.
Haven’t had a birth chart reading with me? Book a 120 min. custom bodywork appointment. This will allow time for a full birth chart reading followed by an astrologically informed bodywork session.
IMPORTANT: When scheduling, please note that you want the astrobodywork experience.

My personal wellness journey.
Surrender.
This isn’t a religious post, however, it is a post rooted in my faith of a higher power. I call it God. I’ve always called it God. I was raised in a Christian Baptist church where everyone called it God.
I found church boring and restrictive. Just another place enforcing rules and inauthentic social interactions. I didn’t like it. It felt like school, which I didn’t like either and for the same reasons.
With a strong belief that the validity of my relationship with God wasn’t based on my Sunday school attendance record, I continued to pray long after I was made to go to church. In fact, I still pray. I talk to God in my head and sometimes out loud. When I’m grateful, when I’m confused, when I need strength.
Recently I’ve been unlocking childhood memories, the ones tucked far away deep in my subconscious. While weeks and weeks into TBM unblocking meditations and journaling, I remembered praying a very specific prayer in my teens and early 20’s.
I would pray that one day I wanted to be used as a vessel to spread love and be of service to others. I would specify that I wasn’t ready at the time I was praying this prayer. I wasn’t ready to give up anything I considered “fun” (yet self destructive) in order to be of service.
I wasn’t ready to surrender.
Well, at least it was an honest prayer. And selfish, yes, but I’m ok with that because I’m human and humans are selfish.
The call to cultivate connection through service and we-care through self-care is louder than ever. There’s an undeniable need to nurture myself before fulfilling my desire to nurture others, overflowing my cup with so much (self) love and light, that it inevitably spills over into yours. Turns out I’ve always known that, but that knowing got lost along the way.
I found it while finding myself.
And so I will continue to be selfish, only this time for the greater good.
